Conway, SC (SportsNetwork.com) - Ray Lewis III, the son of former Baltimore Ravens linebacker and two-time Super Bowl champion Ray Lewis, has transferred to Coastal Carolina from the University of Miami.

The 5-foot-9, 190-pound cornerback is one of four 2015 additions announced by Coastal Carolina coach Joe Moglia on Tuesday. The other transfers were Adam Maxie, a defensive back from Kent State; Josh Roper, a quarterback from the University of Pikeville; and Kyle Wilson, a wide receiver from the University of Memphis.

Lewis III, from Longwood, Florida, spent two seasons at Miami and will have three years of eligibility remaining. He redshirted as a true freshman in 2013 and did not see action this past season.

He was a three-star running back by ESPNU, 247Sports.com, Rivals.com and Scout.com at Lake Mary Prep in the Orlando area.

Coastal Carolina finished 12-2 as a Big South Conference co-champion this past season, reaching the FCS playoff quarterfinals and finishing fifth in The Sports Network FCS Top 25.
