Ravens cut CB Foxworth

Published November 20, 2014

The Baltimore Ravens terminated the contract of cornerback Domonique Foxworth Monday after failing a physical.

Foxworth is still recovering from a torn ACL, which he suffered prior to the start of the 2010 season, limiting him to just two games of action last year before he was placed on injured reserve.

The 28-year-old veteran started all 16 games for Baltimore in 2009, his first with the club. He totaled 53 tackles and four interceptions along with 16 passes defensed.

A third-round pick of Denver in 2005, Foxworth played his first three seasons with the Broncos then spent 2008 with Atlanta before heading to Baltimore.

Over 78 career games, including 44 starts, he has amassed 266 tackles, eight interceptions and 51 passes defensed.
