Ravens change plans to stay on West Coast next month

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) The Baltimore Ravens have scrapped their plan to stay on the West Coast between games at San Francisco and Arizona next month.

The Ravens stayed out west after facing Denver in the season opener and Oakland last Sunday. They intended to do something similar after facing the 49ers on Oct. 18, but have decided against it.

Baltimore lost at Denver and Oakland. But coach John Harbaugh says the main reason for the switch is the lengthy gap between the game in San Francisco and the Monday night matchup against the Cardinals.

The new plan is for the team to travel to San Francisco two days before the game and return that night.
