Rams safety T.J. McDonald held out due to concussion-like symptoms

Published February 05, 2015

Associated Press

St. Louis Rams safety T.J. McDonald did not practice due to concussion-like symptoms.

McDonald's presence was a bit of a surprise on the injury report Wednesday, given coach Jeff Fisher made no mention of it and McDonald played every snap in last week's victory over Seattle.

Several other starters were held out. Defensive end William Hayes (illness), wide receiver Kenny Britt (ankle), cornerback Janoris Jenkins (knee) and guard Rodger Saffold (knee) did not participate.

Linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar (toe) and cornerback Trumaine Johnson (knee) were limited. Johnson is hopeful of making his season debut Sunday at Kansas City.
