Rams cornerback Troy Hill was arrested on suspicion of DUI on Saturday morning in Los Angeles after crashing his car on a freeway.
Hill told California Highway Patrol officers he was heading to practice, CBS-2 reported.
The team announced Hill would be inactive for Sunday's game against Miami.
"We are aware of the incident involving CB Troy Hill that occurred Saturday morning," the Rams said in a statement. "As it is an ongoing legal matter and we are still gathering information, we will have no further comment at this time."
Hill, a second-year player out of Oregon, has 38 tackles in nine games, including four starts.
