Eindhoven, Netherlands (SportsNetwork.com) - Georginio Wijnaldum and Memphis Depay both struck for a pair of goals on Saturday as PSV Eindhoven cruised to a 6-1 rout of NAC Breda at the Philips Stadion.
It didn't take long for PSV to grab the match by the scruff of the neck as Wijnaldum opened the scoring for the home side after 22 minutes and it was 2-0 four minutes later courtesy of an own goal by Aleksandar Damcevski
Adnane Tighadouini pulled one back for NAC in the 31st minute with a penalty kick conversion, but the second half belonged to PSV as Depay netted in the 52nd minute and Jurgen Locadia scored just a minute later for a commanding 4-1 lead.
PSV wasn't finished, however, as Wijnaldum completed his double in the 57th minute and Depay scored his second of the match in the 74th minute to wrap up all three points for PSV.
The result moves PSV to the top of the Eredivisie table with six points, while NAC remains in 12th place with one point from its first two matches.
Also in the Eredivisie on Saturday, Zwolle earned its second victory of the season behind goals from Ryan Thomas and Mustafa Saymak for a 2-1 win over newly-promoted FC Dordrecht.
Shadrach Eghan Kwesi scored four minutes from time to salvage a point for Twente away from home in a 2-2 draw against Den Haag.
Saturday's final Eredivisie fixture saw Zakaria Labyad score a pair of first- half goals for Vitesse, but Bartholomew Ogbeche netted in the 89th minute as Cambuur battled back for a 2-2 stalemate.
