John Mayberry Jr. knocked in the game- winning run in the ninth inning to lift the Philadelphia Phillies to a 3-2 win over the Colorado Rockies in the first game of a double-header at Citizens Bank Park.

With the bases loaded and two outs Mayberry lofted a fly ball to shallow left field. Rockies left fielder Carlos Gonzalez made a diving attempt at the ball, but couldn't hold on, allowing Nate Sheirholtz to score.

Ryan Howard drove in a pair of runs with a double and Domonic Brown went 2- for-4 for the Phillies, winners in three straight.

D.J. LaMahieu and Tyler Chatwood each drove in a run for the Rockies, losers in four straight.
