The Philadelphia Phillies are indeed parting ways with ace left-handed pitcher Cole Hamels, agreeing to trade him to Texas in exchange for a package of minor leaguers.

According to FOX MLB Insider Jon Paul Morosi, the Rangers will send the Phillies prospects Nick Williams (OF), Jerad Eickhoff (SP) and Jorge Alfaro (C), along with at least one other player.

ESPN's Jayson Stark and MLB.com's TR Sullivan first reported the deal.
