Peterson active for Vikings

Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is active for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Peterson missed last week's game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a sprained right foot. The star running back practiced in a limited capacity on Friday.

In 13 games this season, Peterson has carried the ball 268 times for 1,221 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Fellow running back Toby Gerhart also missed last week's game with a hamstring injury but is active for the contest, while Matt Asiata is inactive because of an ankle issue.
