Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Pittsburgh Penguins forward Marcel Goc will miss three weeks with a foot injury, the team announced Friday.

Goc sustained the injury when he crashed hard into the end boards in the second period of Pittsburgh's 3-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday.

Acquired by the Penguins from the Panthers at the trade deadline in March, Goc has managed just two assists in 12 games with Pittsburgh after posting 11 goals and 12 assists in 62 games with Florida.

Goc, 30, has compiled 72 goals and 107 assists in 562 games since being selected 20th overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
