Patriots' Hernandez inactive

New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is inactive for Sunday's AFC East matchup with the Buffalo Bills.

Hernandez injured his ankle in Week 2 and missed the next three games, but returned for Weeks 6 and 7 before sitting out in Week 8.

New England activated tight end Visanthe Shiancoe from the designated-to- return injury list on Saturday.

Safety Patrick Chung will miss his third game in a row with a shoulder injury.
