Chestnut Hill, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - James Conner rushed for 213 yards and a touchdown on 35 carries as the Pittsburgh Panthers took down the Boston College Eagles on the road, 30-20, in Atlantic Coast Conference action at Alumni Stadium.

Chad Voytik completed 10-of-20 pass attempts for 111 yards, two touchdowns and an interception for Pittsburgh (2-0, 1-0 ACC), which has won back-to-back games to open the season. Receiver Tyler Boyd caught five passes for 72 yards and two scores to lead the Panthers.

Tyler Murphy completed 10-of-28 pass attempts for 134 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions for Boston College (1-1, 0-1), and added 92 rushing yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. He was the only ball carrier with more than 14 rushing yards for the Eagles. Shakim Phillips tallied four receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown to lead Boston College.

Pittsburgh got the scoring started in the first quarter with a 49-yard field goal by Chris Blewitt with 11:32 remaining. Boston College didn't let the Panthers lead last for long, as a four-play, 67-yard drive was capped with a Tyler Rouse 1-yard touchdown run with 9:55 left.

Boyd caught the first of his two touchdown passes early in the second quarter, this one on a 15-yard connection from Voytik. The Panthers took a 10-7 lead, which they would not surrender the rest of the way.

Blewitt hit a 42-yard field goal, and Boyd caught a 5-yard scoring pass from Voytik with 18 seconds remaining in the period to close out the first-half scoring. Pittsburgh took a 20-7 lead into the break.

Conner rumbled into the end zone from nine yards out with 5:15 left in the third quarter to give the Panthers a 27-7 lead. But Boston College answered less than two minutes later when Murphy found Phillips for a 48-yard touchdown strike that capped a four-play, 75-yard drive.

Blewitt booted his third field goal of the contest with a 41-yard conversion in the fourth quarter to put Pittsburgh up 30-14. With 43 seconds left to play, Murphy capped a nine-play, 64-yard drive with a two-yard touchdown run.

Pittsburgh tallied 302 combined rushing yards in the game, just one week after amassing 409 yards on the ground in a 62-0 rout of Delaware. The Panthers defense limited the Eagles to 15 first downs in the game, while Pittsburgh's offense registered 22 first downs, including 18 rushing.
