Padres reinstate Street from DL

The San Diego Padres reinstated closer Huston Street from the 15-day disabled list Friday with a left calf strain.

Street, 29, has gone 2-0 with a 0.75 earned run average and 21 saves this season. The righty has not allowed a run over his last 22 appearances -- a span of 21 1/3-innings.

Over parts of eight major league seasons with Oakland (2005-08), Colorado (2009-11) and San Diego, Street has gone 32-21 with 199 saves and a 2.93 ERA.
