Packers offense looks to get over slow start; Lacy progressing after concussion

Running back Eddie Lacy appears to be progressing well from a concussion suffered in the Green Bay Packers' season-opening loss to Seattle.

Lacy sat out practice Wednesday. But coach Mike McCarthy says Lacy is proceeding very quickly through the concussion protocol. McCarthy says Lacy has had good workouts.

Having Lacy would help an offense that got off to a slow start against Seattle's tough defense in a 36-16 loss. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers says he hopes the offense can pick up the pace and be more diverse when Green Bay returns to Lambeau Field for its home opener Sunday against the New York Jets.

The Packers did get starting right tackle Bryan Bulaga back at practice Wednesday on a limited basis after he left the Seattle game with a knee injury.
