Orioles place Flaherty on DL

Baltimore, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - The Baltimore Orioles placed infielder Ryan Flaherty on the 15-day disabled list Friday with a strained right groin.

Flaherty was injured running from first to second base on the final play of the Orioles' 4-2 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday.

He has hit .300 (9-for-30) with two home runs and four RBI over nine games this season.

The O's recalled infielder Rey Navarro from Triple-A Norfolk to fill the roster spot.
