A knee injury suffered early in the first quarter of Sunday's 38-27 loss to the New Orleans Saints, left Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Jared Odrick and the team's run defense hurting.

Odrick, whose five sacks leads the Jaguars, was injured during the Saints' first offensive series and did not return.

Via the Florida Times-Union:

With Odrick on the sidelines the Saints proceeded to run 35 times for 135 yards on the afternoon, led by running back Tim Hightower's 122 yards and two touchdowns. Sunday was Hightower's first 100-yard game since the 2010 season.

The 27-year-old Odrick has 25 tackles and a forced fumble on the season in addition to his team-leading five sacks. He said he would have an MRI on Sunday night to determine the extent of the injury.
