O'Brien to remain at Penn State

Bill O'Brien will reportedly remain at Penn State after apparently entertaining a few thoughts about NFL coaching vacancies.

According to Pennlive.com, O'Brien said his agent was contacted by a number of NFL teams.

"I'm not a one-and-done guy," O'Brien told Pennlive.com. "I made a commitment to these players at Penn State and that's what I am going to do.

"I'm a man of my word. I am what I am. Maybe I get fired in six years. But I'm not gonna cut and run after one year, that's for sure."

O'Brien led Penn State to an 8-4 record in 2012, a year that included the severe penalties levied by the NCAA against the football program in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky scandal.

Pennlive.com also reported that the NFL speculation helped O'Brien gain a raise from Penn State.
