No. 10 Arizona looking to improve during extended break after 3-0 start

Published November 20, 2014

Associated Press

After opening the season with three convincing wins, Arizona has an eight-day break between games.

But instead of viewing the extended time off as potential momentum killer for the 10th-ranked Wildcats, coach Sean Miller sees it as a chance to reiterate what the team has done right and fix what it has done wrong.

Arizona entered the season with plenty of expectations, thanks to a roster loaded with proven veterans and another stellar recruiting class by Miller.

The Wildcats have lived up to those so far, rolling to opening victories over Charleston Southern, Texas-El Paso and Long Beach State.

After a couple days off, the Wildcats returned to practice Thursday to get ready for their next game, Nov. 28 against Northern Arizona.
