No. 1 UConn rolls past No. 4 Louisville

Storrs, CT (SportsNetwork.com) - Breanna Stewart had 24 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and two blocks in the top-ranked Connecticut Huskies' 81-64 victory over the fourth-ranked Louisville Cardinals in a rematch of the 2013 National Championship game.
On April 9, 2013, the Huskies powered past Louisville 93-60 to earn the program's eighth national title.
Moriah Jefferson added 18 points and five assists for Connecticut (25-0, 12-0 AAC), which has won 31 straight dating back to last season's title run.
UConn forward Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis left the game briefly after hurting her left elbow with 18.7 seconds left in the first half. She returned in the second half with a sleeve on her elbow and ended with 13 points.
"From what I have been able to see it is not as bad as what happened last time," said UConn coach Geno Auriema of Mosqueda-Lewis, who missed eight games earlier this season with a right elbow injury. "We will know more, the doctor is looking at her right now. It is in a similar spot just a different elbow. We have a week off before we play again, therefore we will know more in a day or two."
Asia Taylor tallied 18 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and two steals for the Cardinals (23-2, 11-1), who had a 16-game winning streak snapped. Sara Hammond had 11 points and six boards.
After Louisville scored seven straight points to get within 21-18, the Huskies used a 6-0 spurt to create some distance. Mosqueda-Lewis' 3-pointer with 7:36 left in the first half made it 27-18.
Connecticut built a 44-31 margin on a pair of Mosqueda-Lewis free throws with 1:14 remaining. Taylor responded with two free throws of her own to make it an 11-point game at the break.
The Cardinals cut their deficit to seven, 47-40, on Tia Gibbs' 3-pointer, but the Huskies responded with a 17-5 run to put the game out of reach.
Connecticut improved to 14-1 all-time against Louisville.
