Nishikori pulls out of French Open

Rising Japanese Kei Nishikori has pulled out of the upcoming French Open, citing a stomach injury.

The 22-year-old Nishikori, who suffered the injury in Barcelona last month, is currently 18th in the world and the highest-ranked Japanese player ever.

World No. 10 American Mardy Fish pulled out of Roland Garros on Monday, citing fatigue.

The 2012 French Open will commence Sunday in Paris.
