Nietes takes Jr. Flyweight belt from Hirales

Donnie Nietes earned a 12-round unanimous decision over Ramon Garcia Hirales to take the WBO Jr. Flyweight title.

Nietes (29-1-3) took a 115-113, 118-110, 117-111 victory over Hirales (16-3-1) in a fight that was paused in the 11th round because of a cut over Nietes' left eyebrow from an accidental headbutt.

The fight resumed, however, and Nietes remained aggressive to take the title away from Hirales.
