NFL DRAFT 2014: Ravens pick Virginia DL Urban and Coastal Carolina RB Taliaferro in 4th round

The Baltimore Ravens have selected Virginia defensive lineman Brent Urban and a running back in the fourth round of the NFL draft.

Both were compensatory picks. After taking Urban at No. 134 overall on Saturday, general manager Ozzie Newsome nabbed Coastal Carolina running back Lorenzo Taliaferro four picks later.

Four of the Ravens' first five picks were defensive players, including first-rounder C.J. Mosley and Florida State teammates Timmy Jernigan and Terrence Brooks.

The 6-foot-7, 298-pound Urban had 40 tackles in eight games last year with the Cavaliers. He missed time with a high ankle sprain.

Taliaferro rushed for 1,729 yards last season and finished his college career by playing in the Senior Bowl.

The 6-foot, 230-pound Taliaferro is expected to back up Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce.
