New York Rangers shake up lineup with 3 changes for Game 3 vs. Pittsburgh Penguins

Published February 05, 2015

Associated Press

Rangers coach Alain Vigneault is shaking up his lineup again for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Rugged forward Derek Dorsett, who took a boarding penalty that led to a goal in the third period of the Rangers' 3-0 loss Sunday, sat out Monday for the first time in these playoffs, along with forward Daniel Carcillo and defenseman John Moore.

Forwards Jesper Fast and J.T. Miller, and defenseman Raphael Diaz joined the lineup. Fast and Miller both played in two games of New York's first-round victory over Philadelphia. Diaz is making his postseason debut.

Vigneault made changes after each loss of the first round, with Carcillo going in or coming out each time. The Rangers won all three games after each loss to Philadelphia.

The Penguins made no changes after tying the series 1-1 Sunday.
