Nelson, Jones dismissed from Ole Miss

Ole Miss has dismissed sophomore Dundrecous Nelson and freshman Jamal Jones from the basketball team for violating undisclosed team rules.

The dismissals were announced Thursday.

Nelson, who was the team's leading scorer at 11.6 points per game, was reportedly arrested earlier in the week for possessing drug paraphernalia in his apartment.

Jones had played five games this season in a limited role.
