Washington, DC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Nationals agreed to a one- year contract with catcher Wilson Ramos to avoid arbitration.

According to CBSSports.com, the deal is worth $3.55 million.

Ramos battled through another injury-plagued season in 2014, playing in just 88 games with stints on the disabled list with hand and hamstring injuries. He batted .267 with a .299 on-base percentage and 11 home runs.

In 326 career games, all but seven with the Nationals after being acquired from Minnesota, Ramos is a career .268 hitter with 46 home runs. He has thrown out 30 percent of opposing base-stealers.
