Napoli opened its Serie A campaign on 1 win over Cesena as second-half goals from Hugo Campagnaro and Marek Hamsik handed them all three points.

Ezequiel Lavezzi got Napoli off to a great start as he got behind the Cesena defense on a throw in and slotted his shot past goalkeeper Nicola Ravaglia at the near post.

Cesena responded with a goal midway through the first half as Roberto Guana got on the other end of a cross from Citadin Eder to redirect the ball into the net.

But Napoli took over in the second half and went in front in the 67th minute when a low cross from Blerim Dzemaili was knocked home at the far post by Campagnaro.

The result was safe three minutes from time when Hamsik sent a rocket past the 'keeper from just inside the penalty area.
