Na, Kvitova advance to final in Montreal

Li Na and Petra Kvitova won their semifinal matches Sunday to move on to the final at the $2.168 million Rogers Cup tennis event.

The 10th-seeded Na of China downed 16th-seeded Czech Lucie Safarova 3-6, 6-3, 7-5, and the fifth-seeded Czech Kvitova topped seventh-seeded Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 on the hardcourts at Uniprix Stadium.

Na, who rallied from a 1-5 deficit in the third set, fired five aces and coverted 4-of-6 break points against Safarova.

Wozniacki and Kvitova had to wait out a lengthy rain delay before resuming play at the start of the third set. In all, Kvitova tallied five aces and won 6-of-10 break points.

The 2012 Rogers Cup champ will pocket $385,000.
