Moulson, Tavares lift Islanders past Red Wings

Matt Moulson scored two goals with one assist 1 win over the Detroit Red Wings.

The Islanders have won four straight over the Red Wings and five of the last six. They scored three goals on four shots against Ty Conklin in the second period to take a 4-0 lead.

Evgeni Nabokov made 23 saves for New York, which snapped a two-game losing streak, and Conklin allowed five goals on 30 shots as Detroit finished 2-2 on a four-game road trip.
