Major League Baseball suspended four minor league players on Tuesday.

Oakland Athletics minor league outfielder Mitchell LeVier was suspended 50 games after a second violation for a drug of abuse. He is on the roster of Single-A Stockton, and his suspension is effective at the start of next season.

Free-agent minor league outfielder Timo Perez, catcher Oscar Rodriguez and right-handed pitcher Kevin Santana were each suspended 50 games for testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs.

Each suspension is effective immediately upon their signing with a major league organization.
