Missouri coach Gary Pinkel has suspended starting quarterback Maty Mauk and lineman Malik Cuellar for "disciplinary reasons related to violation of team policies," the school announced a statement Tuesday.

Both players will sit out vs. South Carolina on Saturday and their status will be evaluated after.

Mauk, a redshirt junior, has thrown six touchdowns and four interceptions this season. He has also rushed for a TD.

The Tigers (3-1, 0-1) are coming off a 21-13 loss to Kentucky.

More to come.
