Milestone night for Broyles, as Sooners rout Kansas

Ryan Broyles finished with 217 yards receiving 17 rout of Kansas.

Broyles' 57-yard TD catch with 7:50 left in the second quarter was his fourth reception of the game and the 317th of his career, moving him into the all- time lead. Purdue's Taylor Stubblefield recorded 316 from 2001-04.

But Broyles blew past that mark, finishing with 13 catches Saturday. He was the favorite target of Landry Jones, who completed 29-of-48 passes for 363 yards and three touchdowns, with one interception.

Dominique Whaley had 165 yards and a score on 30 carries for the Sooners (6-0, 3-0 Big 12), who led by only 10 at halftime, but shut out the Jayhawks in the final two quarters.
