The Michigan Wolverines football team took a trip during spring break, all the way down to sunny Florida where they trained at IMG Academy. It wasn't a college kid's typical spring break filled with beaches and partying, but it wasn't cheap either.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the trip cost Michigan $348,553, as revealed by the school's expense summary.

The biggest chunk of that pile of money was used to pay for lodging and food, which totaled $146,912 alone. As expected, travel was fairly expensive, too, despite the team flying commercial, thanks to Jim Harbaugh. Airfare and ground transportation, the latter of which some staffers elected for, cost a total of $107,148.

The trip ran from Feb. 29 until March 3, with the team having one off day in the middle. Hopefully for the sake of money, it was worth the cash and actually benefitted both the players and the staff.
