Mets, Duda avoid arbitration with one-year deal

Flushing, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Mets have agreed to terms with outfielder Lucas Duda on a one-year contract, avoiding arbitration.

Duda hit .223 with 15 homers, 33 RBI and 102 strikeouts in 100 games last season.

In 350 career games with the Mets, Duda has hit .246 with 44 homers, 153 RBI and 301 strikeouts.

In reaching an agreement with Duda, the Mets have now settled with all seven of their arbitration-eligible players.
