McCollum leads Lehigh over St. Francis (Pa) 79-61

C.J. McCollum scored 20 points to lead Lehigh to a 79-61 victory over St. Francis (Pa.) on Monday night.

McCollum, the nation's 12th-leading scorer, also grabbed eight rebounds for the Mountain Hawks (6-5), who led throughout. His 3-pointer started a 9-1 run that made it 20-10 with 11:17 left in the first half after the Red Flash (2-7) got within a point for the only time since the start.

After leading 41-31 at halftime, Lehigh shot 56.7 percent (17 of 30) in the second half to 31 percent (9 of 29) for St. Francis. The Red Flash struggled from 3-point range, making 18.2 percent (2 of 11) after averaging 19.2 percent (9 of 47) in their previous three games.

The Mountain Hawks blocked 10 shots while getting none of their own blocked.

Michael Ojo added 13 points and Jordan Hamilton 12 for Lehigh.

Mislav Jukic scored 21 points for St. Francis.
