Martin Truex Jr.'s 'Catwalk for a Cause' gets new sponsor

The Seventh Annual Catwalk for a Cause, the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation event designed to raise awareness and funding for childhood and ovarian cancer, has a new presenting sponsor and a new theme.

Nature's Bakery, the primary sponsor of Danica Patrick's No. 10 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet, will be the presenting sponsor for this year's gathering, which carries a tropical theme of being at the beach. Sun Trust is also a sponsor.

Truex and longtime girlfriend Sherry Pollex, who is battling ovarian cancer, are the driving forces behind Catwalk for a Cause. Over the years, the show has drawn strong support from the NASCAR community

This year's event takes place May 18 at 500 S. Main Street, in Mooresville North Carolina. Doors open at 6 p.m.
