Miami Marlins pitcher Edward Mujica has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a fractured right pinky toe.

Mujica was hurt during Friday's game against Philadelphia after being struck by a line drive off the bat of Phillies infielder Placido Polanco.

In 35 games this season, Mujica is 0-3 with two saves and a 4.46 earned run average.

The Marlins have recalled pitcher Wade LeBlanc from Triple-A New Orleans to fill the vacant roster spot. LeBlanc was 5-5 with a 3.74 ERA in 16 starts for the Zephyrs.

LeBlanc joined the Marlins this season after spending the past four years with San Diego. He owns a career record of 17-22 with a 4.54 ERA in 54 big league games, all but two of which have been starts.
