DAYTONA, FL - FEBRUARY 18: Kevin Harvick, driver of the #29 Shell/Pennzoil Chevrolet, leads Mark Martin, driver of the #01 U.S. ARMY Chevrolet, to the finish line to win the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on February 18, 2007 in Daytona, Florida. After Martin Truex Jr. lost the closest Daytona 500 finish in history, he received a little consolation from the former driver who lost the second-closest Daytona 500 finish.

Martin was passed by Kevin Harvick on the last lap of the 2007 Daytona 500, as the two put on an incredible show as they raced back to the line, just as Truex and winner Denny Hamlin did on Sunday.

And, yes, both Martins are class acts and great competitors.
