Maple Leafs add Dudley to front office team

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Friday they have added Rick Dudley to their management team in a yet-to-be-specified capacity.

Dudley had served as general manager of the Atlanta Thrashers, but after the team was sold to True North and relocated to Winnipeg, he was not retained.

Maple Leafs GM Brian Burke called the 62-year-old Dudley "premier talent evaluator."
