Mario Mandzukic scored twice against his former team to take over sole possession of the Bundesliga scoring lead and Bayern Munich continued its perfect start with a 3-0 win over Wolfsburg on Tuesday at the Allianz Arena.

Bastian Schweinsteiger opened the scoring in the first half for Bayern Munich, and Mandzukic added his brace in an eight-minute stretch of the second half as the hosts won for the fifth time in as many matches to start the season.

Bayern opened a two-point cushion atop the standings on Eintracht, which tied Borussia Dortmund, 3-3, on Tuesday to drop points for the first time.

Wolfsburg lost for the second time during a four-game winless streak and is 10 points off the pace after five matches.

Schweinsteiger found the post in the 18th minute, but deposited another chance in the 24th. Franck Ribery provided the last pass and Schweinsteiger found the bottom-right corner for his third goal of the season.

Bayern held its one-goal cushion until 12 minutes into the second half, when a cross from Xherdan Shaqiri was turned into the top-right corner by Mandzukic - who joined from Wolfsburg in the offseason.

Mandzukic added another in the 65th, this time off a pass from Phillip Lahm, with a header to the middle of the net to overtake teammate Thomas Muller for the scoring lead. Muller, who has four goals, did not play against Wolfsburg.

In all competitions, Bayern has won all eight of its matches this season.

Eintracht 3, Borussia Dortmund 3

Frankfurt, Germany - Stefan Aigner, Takashi Inui and Anderson all scored after halftime as Eintracht tied Borussia Dortmund, 3-3, on Tuesday at Commerzbank Arena to preserve its unbeaten start in the Bundesliga.

Aigner started the rally in the 49th, Inui tied the fixture two minutes later and, after Mario Gotze restored a one-goal lead for Dortmund, Anderson notched the final goal 17 minutes from time for Eintracht.

Anderson notched the tying goal off a header from close range as Eintracht was able to score all three of its goals from deep inside the area.

Eintracht slipped two points off the pace of five-win Bayern Munich, which won 3-0 over Wolfsburg on Tuesday, but remained in second place.

Dortmund dropped points in its second straight game, and for the third time in its last three, and is already seven points off the summit.

Furth, Germany - Oliver Fink and Ken Ilso scored eight minutes apart in the first half as promoted Dusseldorf remained undefeated in the Bundesliga with a 2-0 victory over promoted Greuther Furth on Tuesday at Trolli Arena.

Dusseldorf notched its fifth straight shutout to start the season, following a win and three scoreless draws with its second victory of the young campaign.

Fink opened the scoring inside the half-hour mark with a header to the bottom- left corner, and Ilso followed in the 34th minute with a right-footed shot to the lower left.

Dusseldorf is one of just three unbeaten teams remaining in the league, along with Bayern Munich and promoted Eintracht. Dusseldorf remained six points off the pace of five-win Bayern, but climbed to fourth in the table.
