LSU RB Jeremy Hill arrested outside a bar near the Tigers' campus

LSU running back Jeremy Hill has been arrested in connection with an incident outside a bar near campus.

LSU spokesman Michael Bonnette says coach Les Miles is aware of the arrest, though it is not known what Hill has been charged with. Miles at the NFL draft in New York on Saturday and Bonnette says he would not comment until he returned to Baton Rouge, reviewed the police report and spoke with Hill.

Hill was LSU's leading rusher with 755 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2012, his freshman season. His college career was delayed by a year after he was arrested in early 2011 for an alleged sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl at his high school. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor and was sentenced to two years' probation.
