Liverpool signs Uruguay international Coates

Liverpool confirmed Tuesday it has signed term contract, although the length of the deal was not disclosed.

Coates, 20, completed his transfer from Nacional after passing a medical and securing a work permit. The center back has already played five matches for Uruguay.
