LIU Brooklyn's Boyd out for season

LIU Brooklyn forward and reigning NEC Player of the Year Julian Boyd will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL in his right knee.
Boyd suffered the injury during the Blackbirds' victory over Rice last Wednesday.
The senior, who will apply for a medical redshirt, averaged 18.5 points and 6.1 rebounds over the team's first eight games this season.
