Lightning recall goaltender Kristers Gudlevskis

TAMPA BAY -- The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled goaltender Kristers Gudlevskis from the Syracuse Crunch on Saturday, vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced.

Gudlevskis, 6-foot-3, 218 pounds, has played in two games for the Crunch this season, posting a 2-0-0 record with a 2.00 goals against average and a .930 save percentage. He has played in 82 career AHL games, all with Syracuse, notching a 45-25-4 record with a 2.74 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage.

A native of Aizkraukle, Latvia, Gudlevskis has played in one NHL game, with the Lightning during the 2013-14 season. He recorded the win and made 36 saves on 38 shots against. He also played in two Stanley Cup Playoff games that season, registering a 0-1-0 record and a .900 save percentage.

Gudlevskis was drafted by Tampa Bay in the fifth round, 124th overall, of the 2013 NHL Draft.
