Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James is expected to miss the next two weeks after tests revealed a strained left knee and lower back.

James, who turned 30 on Tuesday, missed Cleveland's game on Dec. 11 at Oklahoma City with a sore knee. He came back to play in the Cavs' next nine games, but has since missed the last two against Atlanta and Milwaukee -- both Cavs losses.

Tests performed Wednesday at the Cleveland Clinic included a physical, radiographs and an MRI exam. Treatment will consist of rest, rehab and anti- inflammatory medication.

In training camp, James reported battling back soreness.

Through 29 games in his first season back in Cleveland, James leads the Cavaliers with 25.2 points per game and 7.6 assists. He is also averaging 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.
