Lakers' Nash doubtful against Clippers

Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Nash is doubtful for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers due to a lower leg contusion.

Nash suffered the injury during Wednesday's 116-106 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers after colliding with rookie Damian Lillard in the second quarter.

The two-time MVP returned for the start of third quarter, but left the game again just over a minute later and did not return.

He will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.

Nash has averaged 4.5 points and 4.0 assists over two games for the 0-2 Lakers this season.
