Lakers clinch division after Clips lose

The Los Angeles Lakers clinched their 23rd division title Tuesday without taking the court.

The Lakers wrapped up the Pacific Division and the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference playoffs after the Clippers lost to the Hawks in Atlanta.

The Lakers, who finish the regular season Thursday in Sacramento, will play either Denver or Dallas in the first round.
