A late change has been made to this weekend's UFC Fight Night card from Japan after injuries forced both Norifumi 'Kid' Yamamoto and his opponent Matt Hobar to forgo their bout scheduled for Saturday night.

According to UFC officials, both fighters suffered injuries in training that forced the fight to be scrapped all together.

With Yamamoto and Hobar dropping off the card, the show will now move forward with 10 total bouts.

Because Yamamoto vs. Hobar was scheduled for the main card, the bout between Katsunori Kikuno and Diego Brandao will now move up to the televised portion of the show airing on FS1 starting at 10pm ET on Saturday night.

UFC Fight Night from Japan is headlined by a five round heavyweight fight pitting former champion Josh Barnett against 'Ultimate Fighter' winner Roy Nelson.
