Goalkeepers have a reputation in soccer for being a little crazy at times, but we've never seen anything like this before.

Maritzburg United goalkeeper Glenn Verbauwhede has gone viral with his strange antics during a South African league game against Lamontville Golden Arrows.

During the match that took place last month, Verbauwhede lures the attacker into closing down the ball before thrusting himself head-first into the player's feet.

The Belgian keeper's second attempt at the bizarre move sees him succeed in getting his bemused opponent booked.

Check out the video:

I'm not sure the Golden Arrows forward found this as funny as we did!
