Joshua Smith leaving UCLA

UCLA junior center Joshua Smith is leaving the men's basketball program.

Smith saw action in each of the Bruins' first six games this season, averaging 5.2 points and 4.2 rebounds.

"I have made the decision to leave the program for personal reasons," Smith said. "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at UCLA and am grateful for the opportunity that has been presented to me here."

The Washington native averaged 10.4 points and 5.6 rebounds over his first two years with the Bruins.
