This is exactly what Michigan was hoping for when John Beilein was hired as coach in 2007.

Over the last six seasons, the Wolverines have built a program that can again challenge for a national championship. After an 81-66 victory over West Virginia on Saturday night, Michigan is 11-0 and sitting at No. 2 in the AP poll — its highest spot since the Fab Five era.

Michigan's calling card so far has been its offense, which has been precise, efficient and incredibly hard to defend. The Wolverines have perhaps the nation's best point guard in Trey Burke, and he has plenty of scoring threats around him whenever the ball is in his hands.
